Purchasing a Property

Fixed fee professional fees

$1,300.00 plus GST and disbursements

Note: additional fees apply for off-the-plan apartments, commercial property and any properties with a purchase price above $2,000,000.00(2 million dollars).

Conveyancing service for purchasing a property includes:

  • Up to 5 contract reviews by a lawyer

  • Advising purchasers on the Contract of Sale

  • Contract negotiations and amendments

  • Liaising with your mortgage broker/ lender/ real estate agents

  • Due diligence

  • Verification of identification

  • Guidance on land tax, stamp duty and any concessions/ exemptions

  • Carrying out stamp duty assessment

  • Assisting with first homeowner grants or schemes

  • Attending to all steps of the conveyance process from exchange to settlement

  • PEXA accreditation

  • Finalising the sale and transfer

Residential Conveyancing Services

Selling a Property

Fixed fee professional fees

$1,700.00 plus GST and disbursements

Note: additional fees apply for off-the-plan apartments, commercial property and any properties with a purchase price above $2,000,000.00 (2 million dollars).

Conveyancing service for selling a property includes:

  • Drafting and preparing a Contract of Sale

  • Drafting special conditions or clauses

  • Advising the owner on the Contract of Sale and sale process

  • Liaising with your real estate agent

  • Assisting with responding to formal purchaser enquiries

  • Communicating with legal representatives of a purchaser

  • Verification of identification

  • Guidance on taxation

  • Facilitating mortgage discharges

  • Attending to all steps of the conveyance process from exchange to settlement

  • PEXA accreditation

  • Finalising the sale and transfer

Transfer

Fixed fee professional fees

$900.00 plus GST and disbursements

Note 1: separate representation will be required for the other party to the transfer

Note 2: additional charges will apply for any third party valuations

Service includes:

  • Review transfer instructions

  • Advise transferor/ transferee in respect to duties or taxes

  • Carry out a Verification of Identification

  • PEXA accreditation

  • Attending to all steps of the conveyance process

  • Transfers pursuant to family law orders or Binding Financial Agreements

Review of Mortgage or Guarantee (advice)

Fixed fee professional fees

Individual, $1,000.00 plus GST and disbursements

Couple - $1,500.00 plus GST and disbursements

Note: acting for the borrower in a conveyance for refinance includes additional fee of $1,300.00 plus GST and disbursements

Service includes:

  • Review loan facility documents

  • Advise borrower(s) on their rights and obligations under the loan agreement

  • Provide an Independent Certificate of Advice where required

  • Carry out a Verification of Identification where required
